I feel like I've been subjected to an odd amount of books about prostitutes here lately. This book was as wonderfully written as all of Hoyt's books but the subject matter was not really to my liking. I had a real problem getting past the ick factor everytime they touched simply because she worked in a brothel. I know that it had been two years since she had entertained a customer but still, yuck. I can't claim not to have known what the book was about before reading, but I've been surprised before when I didn't think I'd like something, but this was not one of those times.
